Since 1980, Xenion Education has been a cornerstone of private education in Cyprus, offering exceptional learning experiences through our High School, Junior School and Language Centres. A Bilingual and Global Curriculum

The curriculum at Xenion High School is bilingual (Greek and English) and designed to prepare students for university entrance, equipping them with the qualifications needed to pursue higher education. Our graduates excel at prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Greece, the United States and across Europe.

As a Microsoft School, we integrate tools like Microsoft Teams into our daily teaching; fostering collaboration and seamless communication between students and educators. Each student has its own tablet that is utilised in classrooms to create an interactive and engaging learning environment, while our Management Information System (MIS), Classter, ensures efficient administration and keeps parents and students informed. By making effective use of technology, we equip our students with the digital skills to thrive in the future world, while maintaining the human connection essential to education.

PHILOSOPHY

Xenion High School was set up in order to satisfy the need and to fulfil the expectations of both parents and pupils for quality education. The school aims to respond to the challenges of our times and hopes to enable pupils to make good use of their school years by encouraging them to be creative and productive.

The number of teaching hours for Greek is the same as in State Schools. English, however, is taught to a much higher level than at State Schools. The unique combination of Greek and English curricula offers a greater spectrum of options. Our students can be prepared for universities in Cyprus and Greece as well as universities in European Countries and America.

The beliefs and aims of Xenion High School are summed up in the promotion, through education, of the values and characteristics that should distinguish the new European citizen. Our graduates, being aware of the new realities, having experienced the electronic revolution and having accepted new values, will be able to travel, communicate and work, respecting the values of European culture without losing their own national identity.

School Premises

The school is situated in the centre of Paralimni, on 1st April Avenue. It is a new, modern building with all the necessary facilities and latest equipment for the smooth running of the school in a friendly and pleasant environment. This is in accordance with European standards for pupils of the 21st century.

Xenion is seen as an educational landmark not only in the area but in the whole of Cyprus.

The classrooms are comfortable, with air-conditioning and heating, and are furnished with the most up-to-date educational equipment in order to facilitate students’ learning.

The use of computers, projectors, interactive whiteboards and other audio-visual equipment provides the opportunity for both pupils and teachers to achieve their potential to the maximum level possible and develop their skills to the full.

The school houses fully equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology lessons. In addition, there are Computer and Robotics laboratories equipped with the latest technology. Each pupil has their own computer and has access to the Internet and on-line libraries.

There are also specialized Art and Music rooms and Mathematics classrooms.
