Xenion Junior School students can join a range of optional after-school clubs, and are offered the opportunity to participate in a range of activities designed to enrich and extend learning. These may be subsidised by the school or the Parents' Association but a contribution may be required, in some circumstances, towards costs.
OUTINGS are an important part of our extra-curricular programme: they provide educational opportunities and they enable children and staff to build relationships in an environment outside the classroom. In some cases the visit is to a place directly related to a topic currently being studied in class and serves to extend background knowledge through first-hand experience. All excursions are compulsory except in special circumstances, when a student may be excused or excluded from a trip.
A contribution towards the cost of excursions may be requested during the course of the year.
